That was very ordinary defence from the Panthers, they need to lift their game. They have given away a penalty from the kick off though and they have to absorb more pressure

Both these sides have top 8 aspirations and you would fancy that a loss by Souths tonight could put a dagger through their finals hopes, they have been poor of late and need a real attitude shift and spike in their intensity to cause the upset here tonight.
The Panthers have been a tad inconsistent this year and have lost a few games by less than a try. They would like to consolidate their top 8 hopes as they sit in 9th and this is a huge game tonight. they'll hope the ab lib style of footy created by Trent Merrin and Bryce Cartwright will help them get the win.

Souths have a fair few changes with Joe Burgess making his club debut on the wing in jersey 20, Ed Murphy starts at half back. Tautalatasi Tasi goes back to the bench after earlier being named on the wing.
