Kick-off is only moments away.

Despite winning two of the past three clashes, the Sea Eagles have struggled against the Panthers in recent times managing 3/11 since 2012.

After making a number of changes in the wake of last Friday's thrashing at the hands of Brisbane, Panthers coach Anthony Griffin has retreated slightly by keeping Isaah Yeo and James Fisher-Harris in the second row, while Moses Leota will start at prop in a switch that sees Corey Harawira-Naera move back to the bench.

Coming off the bench 10 times in his rookie season, giant prop Taniela Paseka will start for the first time in the NRL in place of New Zealand enforcer Martin Taupau who drops back to the interchange.

Both sides are 1-17 as named on Tuesday afternoon, however there are minor positional changes in both forward packs.

Having clashed a month ago at the foot of the mountains the Sea Eagles will be hopeful of recording back-to-back wins over the Panthers for the first time since 2011, while in a hotly contested top eight the importance of coming away with two competition points will be at the forefront of Anthony Griffin’s mind.

Both sides come into today’s fixture in desperate need of a bounce back following dismal performances last weekend, conceding 50+ points respectively.
