LeagueUnlimited.com wishes you a very Merry Christmas and a safe, happy and footy-filled 2019!

The closest NRL season in a long time, the inaugural NRLW premiership and the rise of Tonga as an international contender were just some of the headline stories in another amazing year for rugby league.

There were plenty of wonderful achievements across the rugby league landscape this year - the Roosters claiming the Provan-Summons premiership trophy topping the list, along with the Brisbane Broncos being crowned inaugural NRLW premiers. The Warriors' first ever Dally M medal winner was crowned with Roger Tuivasa-Sheck beating Kalyn Ponga, Val Holmes and Luke Brooks to the coveted prize. In the northern hemisphere, Catalans stunned all to take out the 2018 Challenge Cup, St Helens dominated the Super League all season, claiming the League Leaders' Shield before stumbling in the semi final - ultimately Wigan being crowned champions for 2018. And of course, New South Wales re-claimed the Origin shield in Brad Fittler's inaugural series, while their female counterparts took out the first ever standalone Women's Origin contest at North Sydney Oval.

Once again 2018 saw LeagueUnlimited.com deliver unrivalled coverage across the country and the globe, with coverage of seventeen major competitions across Australia and the UK. Thanks to the NRL, NSWRL, QRL, CRL, RFL and RLIF for their support across the last 12 months as we strive to deliver bigger and better coverage of rugby league everywhere.

In 2019 we'll continue to deliver the information, news, score updates and more as we enter our 18th year of online league coverage and discussion. In fact it all starts this Wednesday with Boxing Day friendlies in England!
