That was better from the Tigers. It came from a Nofoaluma kick this time. Benji ran on last, went to Leilua who shuffled it to the winger to kick. Who else but Brett Morris to clean up.
Back underway, the Tigers need to find something quick otherwise their season might be over.

Roosters hand it right back early in the count though.
The Roosters have cut them open at will when they get a chance. Tedesco with a cut-out to Brett Morris. The veteran winger puts it on the boot but it's played at by Doueihi.

Despite being down 20 points, the Tigers persist with attacking from their own end, it almost created space for Leilua and Nofoaluma. Cutting inside a high shot gives the Tigers a penalty.
It is the night of the flying Morris'. Josh breaks through, Roosters back on the front foot. Friend kicks through for Sitili Tupouniua who knocks on. It went to the bunker still and that is confirmed.
Tigers just can't find the finish on their sets. Brooks kicks it off the side of his boot which lands in the hands of the winger, back to Luciano Leilua, who throws a forward pass.
Tigers get their best chance to break through. They gave Joey Leilua a chance to take on his man on the right but he's well handled, flicks it out and the set ends. We have time-off right after with Matt Ikuvalu down for the Roosters.
Whoops, that might be the first mistake from the Roosters kickers. Flanagan kicks it out on the full. Tigers go back on the attack.
The scorers are definitely making Flanagan work for his kicks tonight. This is ten metres inside the touchline, probably the easiest of the night, but still mid-range. The youngster strides in, misses.
That was a touch of class from Kyle Flanagan. He moves right and flights one to a flying Brett Morris who has an easy passage to the line.
Tigers can't catch a break here. Roosters try to spread right, Tommy Talau touches it and called a knock on. Scrum restart for the Roosters 30 out.
Tigers try to use the width to find an opening. It falls backwards to Marshall, who has the ball knocked out and Russell Packer just picks it up. CHALLENGED for offside. Manu is determined to be making a tackle, Benji lost it and Packer never got onside. PENALTY ROOSTERS.

Tigers finally get a result with a kick with a knock on from Joey Manu. He pleads with Jake Friend to challenge it.. and he does. Let's see. IT IS SUCCESSFUL! Called a double knock on - first off Doueihi.
Easiest kick of the night, Flanagan doesn't flight it enough.
Call everyone in for dinner because this is a carve up! Sitili Tupouniua just busts through some flimsy defense, looks to go himself.. waits, waits and flicks it over to Josh Morris to walk in.
Right side kick for Flanagan this time. He surveys this kick, shapes it over.
Roosters use the full width of the field and have their second. It went left to Ikuvalu who tried to find a gap. Next tackle, again it was simple work for Brett Morris.
The game settled into a pattern now after the early movement. Tigers have shown some enterprise and thrust but can't crack the Roosters line. Teddy busts through again and shows the world his moon..
Back in the side, Flanagan who had a huge lead in the points scorer race, now sits equal second. He lines up his first of the night.. punched it low and over.
GREEN LIGHTS.. TRY! Roosters make them pay immediately. Tedesco almost sliced through on the counter. From there it was simple catch-and-pass and Ikuvalu runs it in.
I believe that is an oops. Tigers have opened up the shoulders early in this game. They tried to spin it left early but Luciano Leilua spills it.

Both teams through their first sets and finish with non-threatening kicks. The big note was the boos from the crowd as James Tedesco plays his first game against the Tigers at Leichhardt.

Here come the Roosters.. the red, white and bluesters. Wearing their traditional red, white and blue jersey there was a smattering of boos around Leichhardt which turned into applause as the home side stride out, ready to entertain tonight. Kick-off is almost here. Let's go.
Happy Saturday everybody! I hope you are rugged up warm and ready for some footy. We have the middle game in Super Saturday about to begin - the Tigers looking to move away from their traditional partner - ninth spot whilst the Roosters, they have been wobbling in recent weeks and need to arrest the slide. Also they have fallen out of the top four! Strap in and feel the gees with some rugba league!
