Foundation club the Penrith Panthers are still looking for that elusive first premiership.
In 2008 the Panthers finished seventh in a nine team field and really need to lift in 2009 if they are to make an impression. Getting all players on the field seems to be a prerequisite to this.
The thing is, the mountain lads and lasses know how to win games, and no one should take them lightly.
A bit scratchy in the area of recruitment but still some excellent players in the front line. If the Panthers consistently get all players on the paddock in 2009, they can make the grand final - thems the facts.
But this punter is reckoning on another inconsistent season. Time to step up and prove the knockers wrong!
