Premiers in 2002 and 2003, and one of the foundations teams of the F7s, the Roosters are back!
After a three year absence, the Sydney Roosters have rebuilt their clubhouse in memory F7s veteran and Easts stalwart 'Ozzie'.
There's a few old names as well with henrieté (formerly Penelope Pittstop), Melon, roosterboy60 and Bubbles all joining the party. Skipper Non Terminator has put together a crack squad that includes a healthy mixture of rookies and oldies.
Pre-season form shows that the Roosters still have some work to do, but with such an impressive line up, and a committed crew, it's hard to ignore their chances in 2009.
This punter is tipping a battle royal for a semi-finals berth when the Roosters make their charge late in the season.
