foundation team of the F7s, the Panthers are long overdue for an addition to their
trophy cabinet. Plenty of punters believed 2007 was the year of the Panther. But
their hopes were dashed as the Chocolate Soldiers became the season's battlers.
The early mail is that the Panthers have a rejuvenated Big Mick back at the top
of his game, and the Mountain Men are set to make hay in 2008.
To back this
up, our sources from Blacktown to Katoomba report that Panthers forummers have
been seen jogging relentlessly across the great divide in their quest to snare
a maiden F7s premiership.
Without a doubt, Penrith are set to be the big improvers
of 2008.
