reigning premiers who set the benchmark in 2006.
Can the Eels make it back-to-back
premierships? History shows that teams tend to fall off the perch after taking
out the big one. But a quick scan of the Eels line up shows that they have what
it takes to go all the way again in 2007.
Second-placed in the BP Players
Awards of 2006, Bubbles is keen to go another season in team of champions which
simply oozes class. The Eels have lost a couple of forummers over the off-season
with The Colonel being a notable addition to the referee ranks. But they have
gained the services of former Pirates Brycey and Prince Charles and former Eels
skipper Natalie's Daddy (aka Dvdhntr aka ParraDaze aka The Ref in Seat 196) has
made a return to the F7s.
The Eels still have room under the cap to build
up into a strong outfit over the coming season.
