The
Forum Sevens Possibles v Probables (PVP) tournament are trial matches and open
to all all comers. In 2006, the PVP was adjusted to accomodate three teams with
newcomers the 'Chuck Norris Texas Death Ninjas' competing against established
F7s teams the Panthers and the Bluebags who have agreed to take part in the PVP.The PVP is effectively a series of trial matches before the 2006 season kicks off. This is the third PVP. The first PVP was staged in 2004 and concluded with a PVP Cup Final in 2005. The second PVP was staged in late 2005 and concluded in 2006. The idea behind the PVP is to give teams an opportunity to show that they can field a full team and play at a level where they can compete in the full Forum Sevens competition of 2006. The PVP also allows for new referees to gain experience prior to the 2006 season. Win, lose or draw, the PVP teams with the best organisation will be considered when the invitations for the 2006 Forum Sevens competition are issued, early in the new year. Main points
