The
2005 Forum Sevens Possibles v Probables
(PVP) tournament is open to all all comers.
It is made up of newcomer teams who will
compete against established F7s teams who
have agreed to take part in the PVP.The PVP is effectively a series of trial matches before the 2006 season kicks off. This is the second PVP. The first PVP was staged in 2004 and concluded with a PVP Cup Final in 2005. The idea behind the PVP is to give teams an opportunity to show that they can field a full team and play at a level where they can compete in the full Forum Sevens competition of 2006. The PVP also allows for new referees to gain experience prior to the 2006 season. Win lose or draw, the PVP teams with the best organisation will be considered when the invitations for the 2006 Forum Sevens competition are issued, early in the new year.
Teams are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the rules.
The newcomers (possibles): The NZ Warriors The Chuck Norris Texas Death Ninjas (formerly known as 'K' Krows) The Covell Brigade The Dragons Army (previously the Red Vs in the 2002 F7s comp) Some current teams (probables): The Newtown Bluebags The Newcastle Knights (relocated, formerly The Glebe Dirty Reds) The Parramatta Eels The Cronulla Sharks (replacing the Central Coast Bears)
